The “IMO wealth Program “ has been flagged off in OWERRI this program is an initiative that is spareheaded by The Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF), a futuristic Non-Government organization that is geared at promoting and projecting entrepreneurs (the youths) especially the aim of the 3day workshop is to create 10,000 employment opportunities in Imo state and it’s environs
Many tech companies like META,(Facebook) ,MICROSOFT are expected to be part of the exercise issuing certificates of participation to various participants .This project is available to employed and unemployed youths in Imo especially undergraduates I’m their final year this will help equip them for the nearby future ahead of them for them to have a base and be meaningfully engaged
The program started off on Tueday with a 3 day workshop at Imsu auditorium which will be ending on Thursday from this exercise successful candidates will be selected and this exercise starts by 9am daily for the three days and accreditation kicks off by 8am everyday
Chief LEO STAN EKE the head of this NGO would be given a 15mins briefing each day during the course of this exercise to educate budding entrepreneurs on how to make right decisions . Interested candidates are advised to register on www.lsef.org to indicate their interest in participating. Registration and participation is free of charge for intending candidates.
Apparenty lvLSEF is partnering with several tertiary institutions, including the Imo State University, Federal Polytechnic, Nekede; Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Imo State University of Agriculture and Federal University of Technology, Owerri to train and certify qualified Imo graduates. The foundation has commenced equipping these institutions with best-in-class digital tools, starting with the Imo State University and plans to do same in a state in each geo-political region in Nigeria, if the Imo project is a success.
